You thought $2 at Whole Foods was a good deal for organic Kale, well here is the best deal in town (besides the free kale). $1 per bunch of spray-free dino kale, purple kale, crinkly kale or collard greens at the Heart of the City Farmer's Market at Civic Center on Sundays and Wednesdays (Market and 8th Street). The best time to get this deal is at the end of the day when they are about to close ~4:45. We got 11 bunches of kale!
There are great deals at the end of the day. 7lbs of organic peaches or nectarines for $5!
